THE CHOICE: Jesus Christ or Anything Else
Choices. Decisions.
You make them every day. Many of your decisions are seemingly insignificant, while some are big.
And then there at some choices that are once in a lifetime decisions.
Consider the essence of free will—it's the ability to make choices, with each decision carrying its own consequences. From simple decisions to life-altering ones, your choices shape your journey.
Yet, among them stands the most profound decision anyone can face: the choice concerning Jesus Christ.

Yet, among them stands the most profound decision anyone can face: the choice concerning Jesus Christ.
In the Bible, Jesus proclaimed in
John 14:6 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'
These words aren't religious teachings; they reveal Jesus Christ as the only path to God, the source of eternal life.
This statement, along with many other things that Jesus said demand that a decision must be made when it comes to who Jesus is.
You must choose to believe what Jesus said about himself, or not.
You see, Jesus Christ wasn't merely a historical figure; He is the only begotten Son of God, the embodiment of God's love, grace, and truth.
In John 3:16, it's declared, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.'

He walked among us, exhibiting perfect love, compassion, and grace. He always spoke truth and did what was right—every time. His life was marked by healing the sick, comforting the brokenhearted, and teaching true, God-centered love and forgiveness.
But His ultimate purpose was incredibly profound—to offer salvation to all.
Romans 5:8 assures us, 'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.'
Jesus's death on the cross wasn't a tragic ending; it was a deliberate, purposeful sacrifice. He willingly laid down His life to pay the penalty for the sins of the world, including yours.
As Jesus said in John 10:18, 'No man taketh it [my life] from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.'
Through His resurrection, He conquered death and offered the promise of eternal life to all who believe.
Acts 4:12 asserts, 'Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.'
Again, we see the options:
choose Jesus, or choose anything else.
But only one name has the power to save—and that’s the name of Jesus.
To choose Jesus, one must first acknowledge their lost condition—your sin is the reason why Jesus willingly gave his life.
Romans 3:23 tells us, 'For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.'
This acknowledgment is crucial—it's recognizing your need for a Savior because your best goodness falls short.
Choosing Jesus Christ means relinquishing your own righteousness or beliefs as inadequate.
It's acknowledging that your efforts fall short and that you need His grace.
Ephesians 2:8,9 highlights this truth, 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.'

Jesus said in John 10:10, 'I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.'
Only Jesus Christ has the power to change your life, to change your desires, and to change your destiny.
In essence, amidst life's multiple and endless choices, your decision regarding Jesus Christ transcends them all. It is an invitation to experience true and total forgiveness, and the fullness of life—eternal life—that only He can offer.
It's an offer of grace, hope, and redemption that extends far beyond this temporal existence.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
Matthew 27:22
What shall I do then with
Jesus which is called Christ?
